Ranchos Natural Foods is a unique Mexican restaurant located on Sunset Cliffs Blvd in Ocean Beach. They have an extensive menu with 239 different plates, plus a specials menu. Ranchos also offers either a vegetarian or vegan option for the majority of their dishes, plus an all organic salad bar- certainly something for everyone here. The prices are moderate- about what you would expect from a sit down restaurant. The walls (and even ceiling) are filled with art and decorations symbolic of Mexican culture. The decorations of this place alone are worth checking out, but you can also order food to go at the counter or call in an order.
Bonus: There is generally a Spanish guitarist playing and singing in the evenings.

Quality food in the heart of OB
I'm fairly new to the OB area and some neighbors recommended this taco shop/sit-down to me and Its official, I found my local spot! It's easy to call in and pick the food up, never longer then 10 minutes. The other option being getting a table like I did last night. The decor is slightly overwhelming but to me a sit down is all about the free chips and salsa and the meal, also amazing. So many choices and they even make smoothies in house. Mango+strawberry is my go to but I'm sure they are all delicious. The quality puts nicos on Newport to shame!!
