Casa Adams is... right on Adams street, just south of the 805. It's a small, but very nice restaurant in a bit of an unexpected location- on the first floor of a small apartment building. Because of its location, it's a little hard to spot, but it's worth finding. Casa Adams is very reasonably priced for a sit down restaurant and offers take out in similar fashion to a taco shop. Casa Adams does not have an extensive burrito menu or carne asada fries, as do the taco shops in the area, but they do have some burritos that aren't found in most taco shops: lobster, scallop, and chille colorado. This restaurant also serves some breakfast dishes such as eggs, ham, pancakes, muffins... even pigs in a blanket. Serving these more traditional American breakfast dishes seems to be a trend for Mexican restaurants in this neighborhood.
No matter what you're in the mood for, you should be able to find something satisfying here at a very reasonable price. Dine in or take it out, they will be generous with their complimentary chips and salsa- which has a bit of a kick compared to the very mild salsa found at most locations.
Know before you go, or call in your order. This location has a very comprehensive website. Check out their menu here: Casa Adams Menu
