More Info:

The Old Town Mexican Cafe is a casual sit-down Mexican restaurant located in San Diego's historic Old Town. Like several of the other large restaurants positioned along the main street of Old Town, The Old Town Mexican Cafe offers hand made tortillas that you can purchase from the street, and also offers a huge dining space for sit-in dining as well as a decent sized bar with a large selection of beer, tequila, and other spirits. The Old Town Mexican Cafe attracts a lot of people who work in the area during lunch, but the large amount of seating and abundance of other nearby restaurants means that you rarely have to wait long to get a table. While the food here won't blow you away, it won't leave you disappointed either and it's better than the food you can get in many other tourist laden areas. The bar at The Old Town Mexican Cafe is surprisingly lively on the weekends and draws an eclectic crowd of people staying at the nearby hotels and/or hopping off the trolley at the Old Town Transit Center.
