Mauricio's Mexican Food is tucked between a few other businesses on the corner of Adams and 32nd. Their large fluorescent sign in front will show you the way. This taco shop, although characteristically small, has more of a restaurant feel. The cleanliness and surprisingly comfortable chairs (not your standard cheap wooden booths) invite you to stay and eat, rather than order your meal to go. Plus, they sport an old school jukebox (well... probably from the 80's) that seems to be stocked with only Latin artists. It will randomly play a Mariachi song from time to time. Most dishes are served on disposable plates though, confirming this restaurant's category as: Taco Shop!
Mauricio's has some deals posted on their window but I was unable to locate any daily specials or taco Tuesday deals. Their prices are pretty reasonable though.
Breakfast is only served from 6:30 - 11:00am. Their breakfast menu is unique however, including some breakfast plates such as pancakes and eggs.
Their beverage selection, as written on a poster next to the cash register, includes canned and bottled sodas, gatorade, and snapple. You can also choose from Horchata, Jamaica, or Tamarindo frescas.
